This conference will survey current and emerging clinical practices involving Fibrin Sealants.
Clinicians will describe the current clinical state-of-the-art uses of autologous and commercial Fibrin
Sealants, and surgeons from the United States will describe their current use of Fibrin Sealants in a
broad range of surgical fields including cardiovascular, pulmonary, orthopedic, plastic, and
reconstructive surgery. Emphasis will be placed on those applications that are emerging as new
methods for meeting surgical hemostatic and adhesive challenges. Researchers will also present
preclinical data on novel applications involving drug delivery and tissue engineering.
