Scientific Program
The Symposium will cover the latest developments in major fields including dystrophinopathies,
disorders due to deficiency of dystrophin associated proteins, congenital muscular dystrophy,
inflammatory myopathies, spinal muscular atrophy, mitochondrial myopathies, ion channel
disorders and myotonic dystrophy.
One day is devoted to diagnosis and treatment of the neuromuscular disorders. In addition to invited
speakers a poster session will give information on recent progress in this field.
A special patient and parent session will be arranged on Saturday, 24 May. International experts
will take part in this question and answer session on the neuromuscular disorders in childhood.
