COMBINATORIAL CHEMISTRY & HIGH THROUGHPUT SCREENING

Cambridge Healthtech Institute , Osaka, JAPAN
November 7, 1996 - November 9, 1996

Program:
Over the past year there has been a tremendous increase in interest and activity related to combinatorial chemistry and high throughput screening in Japan. These two companion technologies are having a dramatic impact on efforts within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries worldwide to reduce the time and costs associated with initial lead identification and lead optimization. The first day of the program will focus on recent developments by leading researchers in combinatorial chemistry. The focus on the second day will shift more to high throughput screening, while the third day will feature corporate presentations on what they might offer or would want to see in corporate partnering discussions. In addition, there will be workshops and a major trade exhibition throughout the three days. This program offers a unique opportunity to access decision makers and researchers from around the world in these two fields essential for drug discovery.
