Program:
The International Society for Oncodevelopmental Biology and Medicine organizes during their annual meetings the so-called Tissue Differentiation (TD) Antigen Workshops. The primary goal and purpose of these workshops is to characterize monoclonal antibodies developed by individual investigators or companies against molecules shed into the blood and fluids of cancer patients that appear to be useful tumor markers. The first six molecules selected for these investigations are CA 125, AFP, PSA, MUC1, Keratins 8, 18, 19 and sialyl-Lewisa (CA19.9). These workshops named TD-1 through TD-6 respectively are an integral part of the ISOBM meeting.
