Program:
The Nucleic Acid-Based Technologies program will address a variety of emerging technologies as well as novel strategies, such as in situ amplification. Current challenges, such as more precise quantitation, simultaneous detection of numerous and varied mutations, increased performance, automation and high throughput will be discussed. Insight into the clinical utility and application of these technologies for patient management, prognostic factors and therapy monitoring in the areas of cancer, genetics and viral detection and quantification will be highlighted. This program provides a convenient means of learning more about the latest technical advances, novel emerging technologies and exploring the breadth of potential in the clinical setting.
