Fibrinolysis and Genetics

SESSION 1 "Genetics"
Topics: population genetics; functional polymorphisms versus markers; genetic determinants of response to interventions; standardization of genetic methods; new data on genetics of PAI-1 and t-PA.

SESSION 2 "Extravascular plasminogen activation"
Topics: extravascular proteolysis in the vascular wall, in tumors, in angiogenesis, adhesion formation, wound healing, reumatoid artritis; new developments / submitted contributions will determine the programme.

SESSION 3 "Specificity of methods"
Topics: blood handling; tissue extraction procedures; specificity of methods for d-dimer, fibrinogen, alpha-2-antiplasmin, t-PA, u-PA, u-PAR, PAI-1, and others.
