Invited Speakers: Dr. David Curtis - expert in Linkage analysis

Program:

Aimed at clinicians, scientists and pharmaceutical representatives
with no previous experience in molecular biology. A student
staff ratio of about 4 to 1 for class practicals on DNA
preparation, use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR),agarose
and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, use of an automated
ABI DNA sequencer for genotyping, TDT and linkage analysis.
Each day there will be 2 or 3 theoretical seminars on DNA
methodology and its use in genetic disease.

Course fee: stlg350 (non-residential; lunch and coffee
provided)

Only places for 16 applicants.
