Each afternoon: 2 rounds of workshops (1-2 Faculties with 15-20 students).

Registration :

- Purpose:
The course will be addressed to:
(a) PhD students and post-doctoral fellows engaged in research on cancer;
(b) MD and PhD who are involved in the delivery of services of patients and families with heritable cancer;
(c) geneticists and other medical specialists who need to attend an introductory course on cancer genetics;
(d) a limited number of genetic associates or genetic nurses who have a scientific background and are already working in oncology or genetics departments.
The course should create a bridge between the basic knowledge which is accumulating in the field of cancer genetics and its medical applications.

- Format:
Review lectures given during morning sessions on different aspects of cancer genetics; two sessions of 67 concurrent workshops each afternoon: one or more faculty members will discuss with a small group of students different aspects of research in cancer genetics and/or practical applications oriented towards the delivery of services (e.g. genetic counselling).

- Fees:
It. Lire 600,000, to cover course fee, course book, lunches, coffee and tea breaks, welcome party, certificate of attendance.

- Accommodation:
Half board per day per person: Lire 130.000/person/day/single room. Lire 110.000/person/day/twin beds. Lire 85.000/person/day/room with 3 beds.
