We are proactively promoting the use in everyday dietary intake from locally bought ingredients and within the larger definable Land-Food-Systems (LFS) herbaceous greens and other agronomic plant crops which are in many cases including organic farming food delivery systems deficient and with little awareness of the need for vegetable addition or supplementation in our daily diet including more vulnerable members of our populations like the elderly, children and youth and women (this in particular could be investigated further for sufficiency studies between diet and cancer, for e. g.).
We advocate for sustainable food supplies (produce and prepared) in our various local communities with rising population and its attendant climate and ecological crisis globally.
These are: a) organic farmers food supplies to emergency foodbanks for single women and their families and marketing commercially in available local markets through promotion and advertising serving as receipts to pay in part organic farm costs;
b) locally run "Don't Skip the Dishes" food salvagers from food-going members of local communities in restaurants, public institutions (schools and hospitals), bakeries, grocery donations and household donations and other private and public donors in the community;
c) and supporting the drive to conserve the agricultural land reserve (ALR) vs. industrial lots or lands for rezoning with growing density in and near urban areas; a good e. g. is enjoining Native land reserves and food security.
In case you're wondering about a new book in our plans, it is at this time planned as a vol. called: "Your wellness is in your immune health," outlining in one Chap. ingredients to Life, as we call them, such as component: 1) phytochemicals, 2) cardiac glycosides (regulating b. p./heart pumping action), 3) pectin, e. g. in apples with the adage an apple keeps the doctor away, speculated in their role for immune balance, 4) the nutritional role of biogenic peptides, as has been found with proteins from fish (and perhaps red meats as well) with heart health in parallel with unsaturated fatty acids, 5) fructan and other possible water-soluble carbohydrates (WSC) or sugars, and 6) functional amino acids (FAA) (e. g. HIS-histidine, ARG-arginine and LEU-leucine and the issue of balance of singlet vs the complement of essential and perhaps non-essential amino acids). There are now non-GMO approaches to planting and raising crops and vegetables; yeast also are now believed to be an organic source for animal feed including fish rearing.
