OPERON S.A. is a Spanish company active since 1973, focusing its activity on research, development, manufacturing and sales of in vitro diagnostics products (IVD).

We produce ourselves, in our facilities, the necessary antibodies and all the other reagents needed in the manufacture of our products. All our tests are of the highest quality and with full guarantee.

By using latex particles in our in vitro rapid tests, we can distinguish different colours in the result and control lines (PINK, BLUE, GREEN). This fact makes our tests very attractive for the end-user.

We have been producing some of these tests for nearly fifteen years. We are supplying our products with OPERON brand name or in bulk to important international companies, which sell our tests world-wide with their own brand names.

Moreover, since 1987, our R&D team has developed hundreds of hybridomes that are now producing Mab's in ascites in cell culture-from a few milligrams using flasks up to several grams using bioreactors.

OPERON also counts on a Molecular Biology Department where recombinant proteins are produced and new PCR extraction, primers and purification systems are being designed for our customers.
