- Is anyone doing direct sequencing for the notch3 gene? Any special requirements for the sample? We have examined 3 different families with 6 individuals presenting with the typical CADASIL phenotype and positive family history. We have also done the autopsy in one individual.

- Is there an antibody available against the granular osmiophilic material found in the vascular smooth muscle cells?

We would appreciate any input regarding these issues.
