We seek an academic leader responsible for : - Directing the Centre of Human Genetics, its clinical committee and its laboratory; - Providing leadership to the clinical genetics program; - Developing the teaching and research programs of the Centre. The candidates should hold an M.D. and a Ph.D. degree, and demonstrate : - Internationally acknowledged expertise in clinical genetics (inherited and/or acquired), including counselling and consulting activities; - Skills in laboratory cytogenetics and molecular biology diagnosis with a good knowledge of the new technologies; - Management skills : projects, team, human resources and budget - Excellence in teaching undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students. - A personal scientific research program. The successful candidate will be eligible for a senior level academic appointment with tenure at the ‘Université catholique de Louvain’ Medical School. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
