A&M Group (AMG) is an independent group and generally regarded as the foremost research organization in Nepal. AMG conducts basic and applied research in the interest of the general public in the natural sciences, life sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. AMG has been in existence since 2008. It is to drive the realisation of AMG's strategic direction of becoming a leader in applied research as well as encouraging a flexible, autonomous and entrepreneurial approach to its research priorities. AMG promotes research for development with a focus on industrial collaborations. The purpose of establishing independent research groups at various fields is to strengthen the required networking between AMG and its associated organizations.
